摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a prescribed premixing period while avoiding premature ignition in a diesel engine capable of burning fuel just after injection of the fuel which is injected in the vicinity of a compression top dead center by controlling an intake temperature and capable of simultaneously achieving low emission performance and improvement in fuel consumption. SOLUTION: Even in a region where the combustion timing (ignition timing) is controlled basically only by main injection timing on a low load side in the premixing combustion region, when the load is varied, for example, and the ignition timing is earlier than the compression top dead center and the ignition timing is quickened accordingly and the timing exceeds the premature ignition limit, division injection for injecting a part of fuel injection in an early stage is performed, and thereby, substantial premature ignition timing is secured, mixing of air and the fuel is improved, generation of soot is prevented, and a main injection amount is reduced, and the premature ignition is restrained.
