PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent young children from squeezing or amputating their fingers in a shredder, for example. SOLUTION: A user can put the papers into only a position from about 5 cm above the shredder blade. Young children's fingers cannot reach such position from about 5 cm above. In addition, the width of the shredder auxiliary component becomes gradually narrower, so that young children will never enter their fingers into the shredder. Installation of the shredder auxiliary component can prevent accidents such as finger amputation of young children (the component is trumpet-shaped so that it becomes gradually narrower from an upper width of 4 mm to the lower width of 2 mm).
