A method for merging multiple beacon groups is disclosed, it includes at least two BGs, the first BG and the second BG, concrete comprises: the first BG and the second BG interacts each other and obtains the partner's merging weight and beacon parameter; the first BG and the second BG select the BG that has bigger merging weight as the merging basic reference BG, and the merging is accomplished based on the merging basic reference BG. By setting the merging weight of each BG, the merging weight represents the difficult and easy degree that the BG is merged with the other BG, the merging weight of the BG needed to be merged is considered while the BGs are merged, and selecting the BG that has the biggest merging weight as the merging basic reference BG, the other BGs are merged with selected merging basic reference BG, so the embodiment of the present invention can ensure the cost time of the multiple BP merging process is the shortest, the interrupt time of the network communication is the shortest, and thus improve the network performance greatly.
