METHOD FOR CONTROLLING FUEL METERING

A method for controlling fuel metering is described. A feature characterizing the switching moment of a valve is ascertained on the basis of the history of a measured signal. The feature is fed as an actual variable to a controller. A criterion of the feature is ascertained, and the controller takes said criterion of the feature into account.
