PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf practicing mat excellent in durability and its manufacturing method preventing falling-off of pile warp in the vicinity of a lower reaches side edge part in the ball flying direction of a ball supply hole. SOLUTION: Mat woven fabric M with pile warp 4 woven into foundation cloth 1 woven of weft 3 and foundation warp 2, in the direction of foundation warp 2 is laminated on a base 5 of plate shape to form a golf practicing mat G and the golf practicing mat G is provided with a ball supply hole 6 vertically piercing the base 5 and the mat woven fabric M. The mat woven fabric M is extended from the vicinity of a lower reaches side edge part 7 in the ball flying direction of the ball supply hole 6 toward the upper reaches side in the ball flying direction to form a woven fabric extension part Ma. A nonraised pile part formed by weaving the other end of pile warp 4A with one end raised at the lower reaches side edge part 7, alongside of the foundation warp 2 without raising it is formed at the woven fabric extension part Ma. A tongue piece part 16 which is the nonraised pile part, is folded along an inner peripheral surface 20 of the ball supply hole 6 and fastened to the lower face of the base 5.
