PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the joining method of a wooden member, in which a substantial rigid joint can be realized by simple working technique while sufficient joint strength and weather resistance can be actualized. SOLUTION: Grooves 1a, 2a, 1b, 2b extended in the fixed direction are formed to each of a pair of wooden members 1, 2 respectively. Rod-shaped members 3 are buried into the grooves formed to each of a pair of the wooden members so as to be elongated extending over both of a pair of the wooden members. A pair of the wooden members are joined through the rod-shaped members by filling the insides of the grooves, into which the rod-shaped members are buried, with adhesives.
