PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary press that can further simplify work, and can perform even position adjustment in the rotation axial direction of a printing cylinder, a printing cylinder reference position indicating device and a printing cylinder initial position adjusting method.SOLUTION: The rotary press 1 has a plurality of printing units 2 to 6, and each printing unit includes frames 31, 32, side-lays 24 being rotating shafts which are rotatably supported to the frames, and the printing cylinder 22 which is attached to the rotating shaft, and in which a reference mark M is formed on the surface of the printing cylinder. At each printing unit, there is arranged the printing cylinder reference position indicating device 40 having a rail 41 which is supported to the frames and extends to the rotation axial direction, and a laser pointer 44 which is supported to the rail, can move to the longitudinal direction of the rail, and can indicate one point of the surface of the printing cylinder. |
