PURPOSE: A call waiting service method in accordance with an inputted password in a mobile communication network is provided to set a password for a call waiting service, and to enable the call waiting service only when the preset password is inputted, if a call is originated from other originator, so that a subscriber can randomly select an originator by using the password. CONSTITUTION: A receiving terminal sets a password(S10). If the terminal maintains a voice call state(S11), the second originating terminal sends a call connection request(S12). A waiting call service server transmits a voice announcement message(S13). If the second originating terminal inputs a password(S14), the server decides whether the inputted password is identical with the set password(S15). If so, a caller display number of the second originating terminal is delivered(S16). When the receiving terminal requests a state conversion into a waiting state(S17), the first originating terminal is converted into the waiting state(S18). A voice call enable state is set(S19). The server decides whether a voice message notify service is selected(S21). If so, the server generates a voice message(S22). If the notify service is not selected, the server notifies the second originating terminal of a short message having callback information(S23). |
