A filter assembly for purifying air is provided to equalize the exchange cycle of all filter media and prevent the loss of pressure caused by concentrating the flow of air to one of the filter media, by improving the structure of the filter assembly such that uniform flow of air passes through all filter media contained within the filter assembly. An outer case(110) is composed of an upper plate(111), a lower plate(113), and two lateral plates(115). A plurality of guides(117) are formed on insides of the lateral plates to guide filter media. A rear surface supporting part(120) is formed on one side of the outer case. The rear surface supporting part includes a plurality of horizontal support elements(121) and a plurality of vertical support elements(123) horizontally connected to the horizontal support elements. The vertical support elements support first ends of the filter media, which are guided by the guides and contained within the outer case. A front surface supporting part(130) is formed on the other side of the outer case. The front surface supporting part includes a plurality of vertical support bodies(131) and a plurality of horizontal support bodies horizontally connected to the vertical support bodies. The horizontal support bodies support second ends of the filter media, which are guided by the guides and contained within the outer case. A guide part(140) is formed at the front of the front surface supporting part. The guide part includes a plurality of vertical guides(141) having a verticality part bent and a plurality of horizontal guides(143) formed horizontally with respect to the vertical guides.
