METHOD FOR SYNCHRONISING AN EMITTER AND A DETECTOR IN A COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY SCANNER

In a computed tomography scanner provided with an emitter for emitting a beam of radiation through an object to be analysed and a detector for acquiring radiographies of the object, the detector generates a synchronisation signal corresponding to its state of activation for acquiring the radiographies, and the emitter is controlled via the synchronisation signal in such a way that the beam of radiation will be emitted when the detector is already activated.
