<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic music composition device and an automatic music composition method, enabling a user hardly having knowledge for music to enjoy arrangement of a base piece (original piece) while changing the degree of arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: An original piece storage means 105 stores a score of the original piece. A numerical string generation means 109 generates a numerical string. A transition probability storage means 106 stores two or more kinds of transition probability data of sounds in the original piece. A playing sound determination means 110 determines a sound to be played next from each sound of the score of the original piece stored in the original piece storage means 105 based on transition probability data selected by input from an input device 101 of the two or more kinds of transition probability data stored in the transition probability storage means and the numerical string generated in the numerical string generation means 109, and generates an arranged score 107-1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
