PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bottom from falling out when a heavy weight article is stored by devising the shapes of inserting pieces in a corrugated fiberboard box in which the bottom is assembled by inserting the inserting pieces into inserting slits. SOLUTION: In the corrugated fiberboard box 10 in which the inserting pieces 19 are formed on both sides of a bottom inserting plate 14 and the bottom is assembled by inserting them into the inserting slits 16a of a bottom receiving plate 16, the inserting pieces 19 are formed by cutting oblique notches toward tip sides from both sides of the bottom inserting plate 14 to the central part, so that the inner edge of the inclined notch edge parts 19b of the inserting pieces 19 formed by these notches may be piled up on one end of the tip sides of the bottom receiving plate 16 of the inserting slits 16a when the bottom inserting plate 14 and the bottom receiving plate 16 are piled up. When these inserting pieces 19 are laid down under the inserted condition, the outer ends of the notch edge parts 19b are positioned on the tip side of the bottom receiving plate 16 more than the inserting slits 16a. Therefore, even when the inserting pieces 19 are tried to be pulled out, they are caught in the inserting slits 16a to prevent the bottom from falling out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
