PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intaglio using a grooved glass board which enables the pattern of the groove to be formed at a high-dimensional accuracy, makes scratches hard to form, and in addition, has an excellent surface strength. SOLUTION: A binder layer 4 overlies the surface of the glass board 2 equipped with the groove 3, and also, a DLC layer 5 overlies the surface of the binder layer 4 to form the intaglio 1. By the intaglio 1, the pattern of the groove can be formed at the high-dimensional accuracy. Also, scratches are hard to be formed on the intaglio 1, and the surface strength of the intaglio 1 is excellent. The intaglio 1 of this constitution is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
