PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending method of a tubular body capable of directly performing the bending of a straight tube having a flare part on one end thereof from the flare part without cutting. SOLUTION: In the bending method of the tubular body, after one end of a straight tube 1 is formed into a flare part 11, the flare part 11 of the straight tube 1 is inserted in a flare insertion groove 21 formed in a bending die 2; a holding piece 3 having a groove 31 for the flare is pushed out on a fore end to clamp one end of the straight tube 1; a push roller 5 is pushed out to a root side of the flare part 11, and the bending is continuously performed from the flare part 11. The elliptical curvature of the bending is excellent, and the width of the groove 31 for the flare of the holding piece 3 is preferably made larger than the flare part 11.
