PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus where the weight on a rotating frame side is reduced and a wide range can be photographed by once scanning. SOLUTION: The x-ray tomograph is provided with rotation parts 26 and 15 which rotate X-rays 28 from an X-ray radiation part 24 or/and an X-ray detection part 14. The rotation parts 26 and 15 rotates the X-ray 28 or the X-ray detection part 14 with respect to an axis vertical to a patient 2. By rotation like this, the x-ray 28 is radiated to a wide range of the patient 2 by one rotation for detection. For example, when rotate-radiating the X-axis 28 by setting the line-state X-ray 28 by a predetermined angle so as to expand a predetermined angle around an axis vertical to the center of the trunk of the patient 2 tomographic imaging is performed by radiating the X-ray 28 to the area extending from the thoracic part to the whole abdominal area by once scanning.
