PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous material for the purpose of reducing or preventing formation of a fibrotic coat, a method for producing the porous material, a medical device which can be implanted containing the porous material, and a production method of the device.SOLUTION: The porous material has no resolution ability, forms and partitions pore arrays which are connected mutually, and contains a bio-compatibility elastomer matrix, in which the porous material has at least 40% of porosity, and has at least 80% of elastic elongation. The elastomer matrix preferably contains a silicone-based elastomer. The porous material has 90% or higher reversible elastic elongation, exhibits 1 MPa or higher ultimate strength, exhibits flexure strength of 50 MPa at maximum, and exhibits a compression ratio of 30 kPa at maximum.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
