A transfer film has, in the stated order, a temporary support, a transparent resin layer, and a high-refractive index transparent resin layer adjacent to the transparent resin layer so as to be in direct contact therewith; the refractive index of the high-refractive index transparent resin layer being higher than the refractive index of the transparent resin layer, and the swelling rate of two layers comprising the transparent resin layer and the high-refractive index transparent resin layer being 6.0% or less. Said film, when laminated to a transparent electrode pattern, provides good concealment of the transparent electrode pattern, and, when patterned subsequent to transfer, can form a laminate having excellent pattern durability. The swelling rate of the two layers comprising the transparent resin layer and the high-refractive index transparent resin layer is a value that represents, as a percentage, the ratio of the amount of change in film thickness before and after the transparent resin layer and the high-refractive index transparent resin layer, having been transferred from the transfer film onto the copper foil of a copper foil laminate film and exposed at an exposure of 80 mJ/cm2, are immersed for 55 seconds in a 1% by mass aqueous solution of sodium carbonate at 33°C, to the film thickness prior to immersion.
