PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen manufacturing apparatus capable of easily maintaining and inspecting a temperature detector and a combustor. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a reformer body 1 inside of which a gas channel that is constructed of a raw material channel 3, a catalyst region 5, and a hydrogen-rich gas channel 6 is formed, a reformer 10 having a catalyst body that is arranged in the catalyst region 5, a heater body 20 having combustors (22, 23A, 24A, 20D) for heating the catalyst region 5 of the reformer body 1, and a heater 19 having a temperature detector 25 for detecting the temperature of the catalyst region 5 of the reformer body 1 which is mounted on the heater body 20, wherein the reformer body 1 and the heater body 20 are constructed so as to be able to approach or separate.
