PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complete packaging work of a delivery container by visiting a customer's house, putting a delivery object in the delivery container on site and injecting air into the container and calculate delivery fee and issue a delivery slip at the same time. SOLUTION: A portable apparatus for packaging and collecting packages comprises portable unit 100A for packaging and collecting packages has built-in air injection means 302, 304 for the delivery container, and a means for issuing a delivery slip, etc. A worker uses the portable unit 100A to put a requested delivery object into the delivery container, inject air into the delivery container for delivery packaging, calculate a delivery fee, issue a delivery slip, etc. as the worker sees a customer face to face. A received package is loaded into a collecting truck and is sent directly to a delivery center or the like. The portable unit 100A can be attached/detached to/from a unit body. When the portable unit 100A is fixed to the apparatus body, air is supplied automatically from an air compressor in the body to a tank, and air supply is stopped automatically by a relief function when the tank is filled up.
