PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing an active material for a lithium ion secondary battery excellent in cycle characteristics without the need for a complicated step.SOLUTION: An active material for a lithium ion secondary battery is manufactured by milling and mixing a lithium compound, and a transition-metal compound containing at least one kind of transition metal selected from Mn, Ni, Co, Fe, V, and Ti without a solvent; pulverizing the obtained powder; and burning the powder by applying a microwave under an oxidizing atmosphere. |
