PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a method and a device, which can surely compact a dough by reciprocating motion like the movement of a palm and successively mold dough into dumplings, regarding the technology of molding a baked confectionery like a dumpling when producing a dumpling-like baked confectionery and a rich taste dumpling-like baked confectionery. SOLUTION: Dough successively fed in a stick is compacted and cut while opposed tips mutually reversely move back and forth by arranging in parallel a pair of semicircular groove gears and rotating a pair of semicircular grooves backward with respective tips opposed to each other so as to be smoothly separated in the form of dumplings. The semicircular groove gears in an opposition can be smoothly rounded and compacted in a dampling by mutually reversely moving back and forth as with rounding operation by a palm.
