PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an image capturing lens which has a reduced chief ray angle of rays focused on a peripheral section of an image sensor and a sufficient distance secured between the image sensor and the image capturing lens and which is wide angle, well corrected for aberrations, and configured with six lenses; an image capturing device, digital still camera, and mobile terminal having the same.SOLUTION: An image capturing lens is for forming an image of an object on an imaging plane of an image sensor and is configured with six lenses comprising, in order from the object side, a first lens, second lens, third lens, fourth lens, fifth lens, and sixth lens, the first lens having negative refractive power, and the first and second lenses having negative composite refractive power. At least either of an object-side surface of the first lens and an image-side surface of the sixth lens is an aspherical surface, the aspherical surface being shaped to have an aspherical surface sag amount having an extremum at a position other than an intersection of the aspherical surface and an optical axis on the optical surface. |
