<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrocarbon oil production method by which in the production of hydrocarbon oil by using raw oil containing oxygen-containing organic compounds and water-insoluble chlorine-containing compounds, the contents of oxygen and unsaturated components in the obtained hydrocarbon oil can be sufficiently reduced and water-insoluble chlorine-containing compounds contained in the raw oil can be efficiently and surely removed. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrocarbon oil production method comprises: obtaining a reaction product containing a hydrocarbon oil, water and water soluble chlorine-containing compounds by bringing the raw oil containing oxygen-containing organic compounds and water-insoluble chlorine-containing compounds into contact with a hydrogenation catalyst constituted by including of a carrier composed of a porous inorganic oxide and at least one kind of metal selected from group VIA and VIII metals of the periodic table carried on the carrier in the presence of hydrogen to form the hydrocarbon oil and water by the hydrodeoxygenation of the oxygen-containing organic compounds and at the same time, to convert the water-insoluble chlorine-containing compounds into the water-soluble chlorine-containing compounds; and obtaining product oil containing the hydrocarbon oil by separating water containing the water-soluble chlorine-containing compounds from the reaction product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
