PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart ability for eliminating residual deformation caused in a frame of a structure, to a hydraulic damper installed for the purpose of generating damping force in earthquake time or the like in the frame of a column-beam.SOLUTION: A correction device 1 is constituted of: an upper rigidity element 2 joined to the upper floor side of a frame 6; a lower rigidity element 3 joined to the lower floor side of the frame 6 while leaving a distance in the horizontal direction between the upper rigidity element 2 and the lower rigidity element 3; an actuator 4 installed between the upper rigidity element 2 and the lower rigidity element 3 and imparting additional force in the opposed direction of both to the upper rigidity element 2 and the lower rigidity element 3; and an energy source 5 connected to the actuator 4 and supplying energy to the actuator 4. The actuator 4 imparts the additional force in a direction reverse to the direction for generating the residual deformation to the frame 6 by using the energy from the energy source 5. |
