<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of achieving improvement of operability. <P>SOLUTION: In a housing 2, a first front side surface 15 (nearly vertical surface) of a first housing 3 and a second upper surface 67 (nearly horizontal surface) of a second housing 4 are coupled through an inclined surface 95, and a control panel 90 is arranged below an ejection port 71 on the inclined surface 95. Therefore, a user can view the second upper surface 67 of the housing 2 and the first front side surface 15 together by turning his (her) eyes to the inclined surface 95 in order to view the display screen 92 of the control panel 90.
