PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-phase AC motor in which a large number of crossovers can be arranged satisfactorily while ensuring a sufficient insulation distance, while satisfying the needs for compaction and cost reduction of the motor.SOLUTION: The three-phase AC motor includes a stator 1 in which stator windings 3, 4 and 5 for U, V and W phases are wound concentrically around a plurality of teeth provided on the inner peripheral side of a stator core 2 via insulating coil bobbins 8. The stator winding 3, 4 and 5 for the respective phases are formed into a 1-star series winding structure, and all or some of crossovers 10-15 interconnecting the coils of stator windings 3, 4 and 5 for respective phases are arranged via crossover holding parts 16 on the inner peripheral side of a coil end 2B on a side opposite to one end side of the stator into which the rotor 17 is inserted. |
