摘要 Modifications of the biomaterial poly(vinyl alcohol) with surface topographical cues, attachment factors for its improved performance, and/or sustained release of vascular endothelial biochemical cue for application as a vascular graft scaffold is described. Furthermore, novel fabrication methods to pattern the poly(vinyl alcohol) hydrogel in planar film or tubular form with the topographies in the lumen are disclosed.
