An array substrate and a method for manufacturing same, and a display device. The array substrate comprises: a base substrate (1); a plurality of grid lines (5) and a plurality of data lines (7); a passivation layer (8); and a first spacer (15), wherein the plurality of grid lines (5) and the plurality of data lines (7) are formed on the base substrate (1), a plurality of sub-pixels are defined by intersection of the plurality of grid lines (5) and the plurality of data lines (7), each sub-pixel comprises a thin film transistor and a pixel electrode (10), the plurality of sub-pixels comprise a first sub-pixel; the passivation layer (8) is formed on the base substrate (1) and covers the grid lines (5), the data lines (7) and the thin film transistors, and a via hole (9) is formed in the passivation layer (8); in each sub-pixel, the pixel electrode (10) is formed on the passivation layer (8) and connected to a drain or source of the thin film transistor through the via hole (9); the first spacer (15) is arranged in the via hole (9) of the first sub-pixel. Uniform gaps can be created between the array substrate and an opposing substrate, the thickness uniformity of a liquid crystal layer can be well kept, light leakage resulting from scratching of an alignment layer is prevented, and therefore display quality is improved.
