PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine housing container for medicines such as tablets that prevents inadvertent discharge of the medicines remaining in the medicine housing container on attaching and detaching the medicine housing container to and from a selective supplying apparatus for medicine. SOLUTION: For a medicine housing container mounted on a medicine housing container support body 2 for discharging medicines such as tablets or capsules housed in a medicine housing part 16 in accordance with directions by a selective supplying apparatus for medicine and wherewith the medicines such as tablets or capsules housed in the medicine housing part 16 are inducted into medicine arranging passages 24 by operation of a medicine arranging roller 25 driven by a rotary driving body of the medicine housing container support body 2 and discharged individually from an opening part 13 to the selective supplying apparatus for medicine, a preventing means that prevents the medicine arranging roller 25 from turning on its axis is provided.
