PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method by which it is possible to enhance the diametral size precision of a cylindrical part after baking, in the molding method for molding the cylindrical part by baking a cylindrical material molded by powder compression. SOLUTION: The method for molding a cylindrical part comprises a step to bake a cylindrical material 11 in such a state that an internally introducible member 31 of a rigid material which has a cylindrical outer diametral face and at the same time, a smaller outer diametral size than the inner diametral size of the cylindrical material 11, is introduced into the inner periphery of the cylindrical material 11, a step to shrink the cylindrical material 11 diametrally by a temperature drop after baking and a step to draw the internally introducible member 31 from the inner periphery of the cylindrical material 11 after shrinking. Thus the shrinkage of the cylindrical material 11 is suppressed by the internally introducible member 31.
