PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overload protector device capable of resetting by the device itself, having compliance in a plurality of directions, for detecting an overload condition with only a single sensor. SOLUTION: A housing 10 has an internal cavity and an external opening part 23 to the cavity. A cam 20 includes a head part 35 held in the cavity and a neck part 40 extended through the opening part 23. The neck part 40 and the opening part 23 have a conical surface 50 suited so as to be conformed to each other. A piston 15 is arranged in the cavity, and the cam is energized toward a home position. When the cam during an overload condition is moved in a direction x, y, z or in a rotational direction, the cam 20 is moved from the home position. Next, the piston 15 energizes the cam 20 so as to be reset to the home position regardless of moving direction. A single sensor 85 is provided for detecting the overload condition.
