PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system allowing for efficiently, safely and surely performing a management task such as the rental/storage of medical device assuming that a passive type of tag is used for the management of medical device.SOLUTION: A medical device management system includes: RFID tags 12A and 12B which are attached to portable medical devices 1 and 2 and in which the recognition numbers of the medical devices 1 and 2 are respectively stored; RFID tag readers 14A and 14B each having an antenna for transmitting radio waves to the RFID tags to operate the RFID tags, and for receiving the recognition numbers of the medical devices 1 and 2 stored in and transmitted from the RFID tags; a database 16 for storing the identification information of the medical devices 1 and 2 and information such as dates/places and storage histories; and a WEB server 18 connected to the RFID tag readers for performing processing of collating the data received by the RFID tag readers with the data stored in the database 16, and displaying the situations of the medical equipment 1 and 2 on a terminal 20 for browsing. |
