The device (1) has a rotary body (2) rotatably supported around a rotation axis (3) and including guides (4) arranged at its circumference. An actuating unit (12) holds mass pieces in intermediate positions provided between two end positions depending on a rotation position of the body, where the pieces are designed as balls (5) made of metal. A limiting unit (9) and a mounting rail prevents transfer of the pieces from the intermediate positions in the end positions in a preset rotation angle area of the body before the balls into the end positions during moving of the body by gravitation.
