ANTIBODY TO BOVINE MYOGLOBIN PARTIAL PEPTIDE AND METHOD FOR TESTING USING THE ANTIBODY AND KIT FOR TESTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply detecting bovine-derived components originating from beef particularly in a food.

SOLUTION: A monoclonal antibody and a polyclonal antibody having high reactivity and specificity for bovine myoglobin, a hybridoma producing the monoclonal antibody, a method for specifically detecting the bovine myoglobin from a protein extracted solution using the antibodies with high sensitivity and a kit provided with the antibodies are provided. In the method, an immunological assay is carried out by an ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) method or an immunochromatography method.
