<p>The inverter (1a) has recoverable power semiconductors (2a, 2b',2c') e.g. bipolar transistor, and semiconductor elements (3a-3c) e.g. thyristor, arranged at a non-commutation phase (L1) and commutation phases (L2, L3) of alternating current networks with a current flow direction. The semiconductors are arranged parallel to the elements with respect to the phase (L1). A parallel circuit (4a) is interrupted based on a commutation condition of each commutation phase. The power semiconductors and/or the elements are disengageable based on the commutation condition of each commutation phase. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a converter with a network-sided inverter and a load-sided inverter (2) a method for transformation of voltage and/or current between a multi-phase alternating current network and a direct current network.</p> |
