PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display device which can ensure visibility of a map, when displaying traffic information.SOLUTION: Traffic information acquiring means acquires traffic information, including a plurality of kinds of information. For example, the traffic information acquiring means acquires information showing a traffic situation of each link. Traffic information selecting means selects information from the traffic information, based on the amount of information on each kind of the traffic information, and display control means displays the selected information on the map. In other words, the display control means displays only the selected information on the map, but does not display the information which is not selected. Accordingly, the information to be displayed on the map can be reduced, and visibility of the map can be ensured. |
