摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscosity measurement device by which measurement of the viscosity of an object to be measured can be performed with high precision over a wide range of temperature with a simplified configuration while improving workability at the time of measurement.SOLUTION: The viscosity measurement device comprises a torsional vibrator 1 which may give rise to torsional vibration by applying voltage, a vibrator 2 by which torsional vibration generated by the torsional vibrator 1 can be transmitted being coupled with the torsional vibrator 1, and a control unit 3 which can control the current supplied to the torsional vibrator 1 and measure the viscosity of the object to be measured by detecting the vibration state of the vibrator 2 in the object to be measured and the control unit 3 can cause the vibrator 2 to make free damped vibration in the object to be measured by stopping the supply of current to the torsional vibrator 1 and can measure the viscosity of the object to be measured on the basis of the free damped vibration of the vibrator 2.
