PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle measurement device and the like that allow a broad measurement range of a particle diameter to be secured.SOLUTION: A particle measurement device 1 measuring a particle diameter of a particle 2 included in a fluid serving as gas or liquid comprises: a particle 2 detection sensor that has a light projection element 111 projecting light to a detection area DA, and a light reception element 112 receiving scattered light of the light scattered by a particle 2 positioned at the detection area DA; and a computation unit 162 that (i) when a peak value of a pulse waveform corresponding to the particle 2 included in a sensor signal indicative of an output from the light reception element 112 is less than a prescribed threshold, computes a particle diameter of the particle 2 by using the peak value, and (ii) when the peak value is equal to or more than the threshold, computes the particle diameter of the particle 2 by using a time width of the pulse waveform at a prescribed voltage less than the threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
