PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a production line by improving speed of a push-in operation.SOLUTION: A push-in mechanism 300 pushes an article WP in a box B which is opened to the side. The push-in mechanism 300 includes a box standby section 350, an article mounting section 310, a push-in plate 340, a horizontal movement mechanism 360, and a lifting mechanism 370. The box standby section 350 is used for making the box B stand by. The article mounting section 310 has a mounting surface to temporarily mount the article WP. The push-in plate 340 is erected to have a pressing surface to press the article WP toward the box B. The horizontal movement mechanism 360 reciprocates the push-in plate 340 in a horizontal direction on the mounting surface to bring the push-in plate 340 close to the box B or to keep the push-in plate away from the box B. The lifting mechanism 370 moves the push-in plate 340 so as to change a height direction clearance between a lower end of the pressing surface and the mounting surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
