A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a substrate with a display section and a peripheral section around the display section; multiple picture elements formed on the display region of the substrate; and multiple signal lines formed on the substrate and connected to the multiple picture elements. The multiple signal lines include multiple data lines formed on the substrate and a first crack sensing line connected to a first data line among the multiple data lines and arranged in the peripheral region. The first crack sensing line includes a first part with a relatively wide width and a second part with a relatively narrow width. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the display device capable of preventing the defective display device due to cracks by easily sensing the cracks on the display device.
