Provided is a cup holder that is capable of stably holding a container even upon receiving vibrations. A cup holder (2) is provided with a table (8) for supporting the bottom of a container and with movable holding bodies (12) for pressing the side surfaces of the container. The table can move vertically within a prescribed range, and the movable holding bodies can move in the width direction so as to fit the width of the container. When the container is inserted, the movable holding bodies are pushed and widened to fit the width of the container, and then the table moves downward and engages with link pieces (16) that are disposed below the table. Since the link pieces and the movable holding bodies are linked so as to move in a mutually coupled manner, when the table engages with the link pieces, the movable holding bodies are locked. In a state in which the container is inserted, the movable holding bodies are locked, and thus the cup holder can stably hold the container even upon receiving vibrations. |
