A method for manufacturing a hollow-fiber-type blood processing device provided with a hollow-fiber membrane bundle obtained by bundling numerous hollow-fiber membranes and shaping the bundle so as to have a cylindrical or columnar shape, and a sheet body mounted on an external peripheral part of the hollow-fiber membrane bundle. This manufacturing method has a mounting step for mounting the sheet body on the external peripheral part of the hollow-fiber membrane bundle. When the mounting step is performed, a sheet material is mounted in a state in which the sheet material is configured in advance as a member having a cylindrical shape. The sheet material is stretchable, and the inside diameter thereof when formed into a cylinder in a natural state where no external force is applied thereto is smaller than the outside diameter of the hollow-fiber membrane bundle. |
