Provided are: an undrawn yarn of a vinylidene fluoride resin, which has low average birefringence and high tensile elongation; and related arts thereof. This undrawn yarn of a vinylidene fluoride resin has an inherent viscosity of the vinylidene fluoride resin within the range of from 0.60 dL/g to 0.95 dL/g (inclusive), a single fiber fineness of 45 dtex or less, an average birefringence of 30 × 10-3 or less and a tensile elongation of 175% or more. |
