PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion device capable of preventing sticking of dust to a screw shaft outer peripheral surface by a small and simple structure.SOLUTION: A linear motion device 1 comprises a screw shaft 2 for forming a screw part on an outer peripheral surface, a nut member 3 threadedly engaging with the screw shaft 2, that is, the nut member 3 for relatively moving to the screw shaft 2 in the axial direction of the screw shaft 2 by relatively rotating the screw shaft 2 to the nut member 3 around its axis, a slender sheet member 12 wound in a spiral shape around the outer peripheral surface of the screw shaft 2 and a sheet handling mechanism 10 for winding the sheet member 12 on the screw shaft 2 in the rear in the movement direction of the nut member 3 while releasing the sheet member 12 from the screw shaft 2 in front in the movement direction of the nut member 3 by using relative rotary motion between the screw shaft 2 and the nut member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
