PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to smoothly put on footwear by normally arranging the footwear to be turned forward without performing troublesome and dangerous motions such as temporarily bending and stretching an arm to turn the footwear, turning the footwear by using a toe, or stepping on the footwear in a backward-looking posture to locate it by toe when the user puts on the footwear since the user generally stands reversely to face the footwear in many cases when getting down onto a dirt floor from the floor of an entrance, a back door or veranda-like porch. SOLUTION: A footwear turning tool includes: an upper rotary body (Figure 1); a middle rotary body (Figure 2); and a lower fixed body (Figure 3). The stress of a compression spring (16) and a spring (6) which are attached to the inner part is utilized, so as to obtain the tool by which the direction of the footwear is reversely changed by 180°from the state of Figure 4 to Figure 5 by automatically rotating the upper rotary body after the user steps onto the upper surface (1) of the upper rotary body to separate the feet from the footwear which is taken off.
