PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that laundry contacts a curtain to be dirty when hanging a laundry drying tool with the laundry hung therefrom from the curtain rail of a room, stain on a sash or the rail of a veranda, etc., is stuck onto the laundry when the laundry is dried outside and the laundry drying tool is swung or turned by wind, or it is noisy when the connection parts of the drying tool are rubbed. SOLUTION: A slidable projection is arranged close to the two opposing sides (the shorter sides) of the laundry drying tool and a sucker is attached to the tip end. When the laundry is hung from the curtain rail of the room, a space is secured between the curtain and the laundry, so as to prevent contact. The sucker works as a cushion, so as not to damage the curtain. When the laundry is dried outside, the same type laundry drying tool is stuck onto a joint or a fixed object with the sucker, so that the tool is not largely swung nor turned by the wind.
