PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless iron which realizes miniaturization and cost reduction, and in addition, which enables a long-hour memory. SOLUTION: This cordless iron is equipped with a flash micro-computer 11 having a built-in flash memory 12 as a control means, and is constituted in such a manner that various kinds of action states regarding the cordless iron can be recorded in the flash memory 12. In this case, a backup power source circuit for memory holding becomes unnecessary and the number of parts is reduced to bring a cost reduction. Also, a margin in space is provided on a board on which various kinds of electronic parts are mounted in the iron main body 1 as well. In addition, the long-hour memory becomes possible by the flash memory 12, and the number of times for accumulated motions of a relay 43, the acting hours of the iron main body 1 and so forth can be recorded as well.
