PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a container for extruding a bar-like article having a low height to be manufactured. SOLUTION: This container for extruding the bar-like article has a cylindrical driving cylinder 17 which extends in the vertical direction, a cylindrical holder 16 which extends in the vertical direction on the inside of the driving cylinder 17, and a cylindrical guiding cylinder 18. In this case, the guiding cylinder 18 is attached to the driving cylinder 17 in a manner to be mutually rotatable, and regulates the movement of the holder 16 to be non-rotatable to the driving cylinder 17 and be movable in the vertical direction. The driving cylinder 17 comprises an external cylinder 31 having a first threaded groove 31a on the inner peripheral surface, and an internal cylinder 32 which is movable in the vertical direction while being slidably fitted in the first threaded groove 31a on the inside of the external cylinder 31, and has a second threaded groove 32a on the inner peripheral surface. For the holder 16, a cup 21 located on the upper side of the holder 16 is formed in such a manner that the bar-like article 10 can be attached to the cup 21, and a stem 22 which extends downward from the cup 21 is slidably fitted in the second threaded groove 32a of the internal cylinder 32.
