PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a construction machine which can easily and safely carry out thinnings, cut timbers, or the like without narrowing the working range of an arm. SOLUTION: The construction machine (5) in which an arm (7) is rotatably attached to the tip of a boom (6) and an attachment (8) for works, such as bucket, grapple or fork, is disposed at the rotation end of the arm (7), is characterized by disposing a hydraulic rotation apparatus (12) and a winch (10) having a drum (11) connected to the output portion (17) of the hydraulic rotation apparatus (12) and used for winding a wire (30) at the arm (7)-near tip of the boom (6).
