PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ground covering material accomplishing favorable ground coverage without needing any time and labor for removal. SOLUTION: The ground covering material comprises a ground-covering woven fabric obtained by knitting rush with natural yarns. The fabric laid on the ground comprises the rush and the natural yarns, and thereby naturally decays to return to the soil so as to have no need of time nor labor for clear-up work and also become compost.
